Shard Defender is a 20-wave tower defense inspired game where you play as a wizard who must attack incoming enemies. You move around the grounds using the WASD keys or the arrow keys. The wizard automatically fires upon nearby enemies in the direction it is facing. If you run into enemies you are temporarily stunned. Some enemies drop coins when defeated. As you advance through waves you face more and stronger opponets, and eventually the shard loses all of its health and is destroyed. After losing a game you can use the coins you have earned in battle to upgrade your fire rate, shot distance, shot damage, spreadshot, and piercing shots. In addition you can upgrade your ability to recover from stuns faster, increase your movement speed, increase shard health, and increase the coins dropped by enemies. No matter what you do you will need to play the game many times to beat it as you can't beat the last few waves without being heavily upgraded. This is a JavaScript web application which uses cross-platform mobile-friendly HTML. All modern web browsers like Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera should support it.
