Mango Piggy Piggy Hero is a catapult game where you must shoot a set of piggy superheroes down evil robots and the barricades they set up. Use the heroes’ special powers at the right time to make quick work of the robots and other items in the level.

The game’s storyline and aesthetics are heavily inspired by the Avengers by Marvel Comics, while its mechanics were inspired by the hit franchise Angry Birds by Rovio.

How to Play Mango Piggy Piggy Hero

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button to open the story selection screen. Select an episode from the episode selection screen to open the level selection screen. From there, select any level number to begin.

To charge and aim your shot, select and pull back. A dotted line will show you the path the hero would take when you launch them. Release your selection to launch the hero onto the robots. Finish each level by destroying all the robots using the number of heroes provided. If you run out of heroes before you can defeat all the robots, you fail the level.

To earn points, you must take out robots and any structures around them. Each robot is worth 100 points, while each item you break is worth 10 points. Any heroes you didn’t need to use add another 150 points to your score.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The game is divided into four episodes with 30 levels each. The levels within the episodes are unlocked sequentially, but the episodes can be played in any order. You can replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten to improve your star ratings.

Each level has a star rating that reflects how well you performed. Your performance is measured by the number of heroes it took for you to beat the level. The fewer heroes you use, the higher your rating will be. The highest possible level rating is 3 stars.

Each hero has a special power that can be useful in taking out the robots. To activate the power, select anywhere onscreen, then select a robot to target.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

The key to making the most of your heroes’ abilities is to wait until the right moment to activate them. Sometimes, your opponents are largely out of your line of sight, so the only way to reach them is to launch the hero and wait until they come into view. The game pauses the moment you activate the power, giving you ample time to seek them out.

While you do not need to take out the barricade, doing so is the key to getting the highest possible scores. Shoot the heroes with the intention of causing massive damage to everything breakable in the level. Depending on the situation, many of the robots will get destroyed in the process.

On top of honing a player’s aiming skills, the game teaches the value of proper timing. Players must choose the appropriate moment to utilize their heroes’ special powers to clear the level effectively.
