Junior Chess is a game which serves as an introduction to chess for new players. Choose to play easy, medium, or hard. Select either the red or blue team and then press the PLAY! button. In the lower right corner of the welcome screen there is a help button which allows a player to scroll through 13 screens of instructions detailing how chess works. Whenever you select a piece the potential move options for that piece are highlighted. If you get stuck use the hints button in the lower right. The game is won when the enemy's king is in checkmate. This is a JavaScript web application which uses cross-platform mobile-friendly HTML. All modern web browsers like Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera should support it.
