Happy Snake 2 Game Background

Happy Snake 2 is an escape room variation on the classic mobile game and is the sequel to Happy Snake. Help the snake exit the room by collecting apples to use fire balls, which you can use to unlock the key. Open the door and enter it to finish each level. The game also has an arcade mode that plays just like the original Snake games.

Most of the article will focus on Levels Mode, the escape room game mode.

How to Play Happy Snake 2

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers.

To play Levels Mode, select the play button at the center of the welcome screen, then select the level number you want to play on the level selection screen. To play Arcade Mode, select its button on the bottom center of the welcome screen.

To move around in Levels mode, select the arrows on the bottom center of the screen. The arrows appear left to right when moving vertically and up and down when moving horizontally. Find and unfreeze the apples by hitting them enough times, then eat them. Eat all the apples to be able to use the fire balls. Use the fire balls to unfreeze the key. Collect the key and move to the door to exit the level.

Levels Mode Basic Gameplay Advice

The play area is divided into 3 sections. You start at the leftmost section and must move to the rightmost one to collect the apples. Arrows on the side indicate that you can pass through the side of the screen. The center section usually contains a set of hazards. Once you’ve retrieved the apples, you must make your way back to the leftmost section to unfreeze the key.

Throughout the level, there are hazards in the form of lava moats and the edges of the screen. The fire balls are also a hazard if you haven’t eaten the apples yet. If you hit any in-game hazard, it’s game over.

There are 30 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten.

Levels Mode Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Try to memorize the arrangement of the lava pits in the center screen as you pass through them the first time. This will help you move past them when it’s time to come back.

Arcade Mode Basic Gameplay Advice

This version of the game plays the most like the older versions of Snake, where the walls of the game are a hazard. The snake automatically moves to the left. Change the direction the snake moves and guide it toward the apples. Onscreen, there can be three apples at any given time. Eat as many apples as you can.

The game ends when you hit either the walls or any part of the snake’s body.
